Good news is that Joel has released a new build to the beta testers. Also, as the post below that news item reads, he is working towards a public beta release soon!

For those that watch Heroes, you will know the character “Hiro Nakamura”. By far my favourite of the series.
Well, today, I was staring at the Windows Clock that Rachel had opened on her laptop and doing the impression of Hiro “stopping time”. It was all quite funny until the second hand stopped! Wow! Nick Whittome….. Super-hero?
Well….. no….
It turns out that every 4 or 5 seconds on Rachel's laptop the second hand appears to pause for just a moment. So far I have not found a fix. But like every hero… I’ll keep trying to find the problem.
In the mean time, let me call on the various readers of this blog. Ever seen this problem?
Before I forget… Vista now works on Apple Bootcamp with the latest 1.2 beta release!

Man, they are late to the game, but it finally looks like Dell will be giving us a tablet PC. (Thanks for the link Eric.)
Well, according to the
Intel blog anyway

I would suggest subscribing to that blog as my good mate Sean Deuby is one of the writers and his posts are not entirely boring
A quick tip for FSX SP1:
I wanted to let you know that during the testing of SP1 a few of us that had changed the TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULTI back to a value of 40 (the default) found that this gave us the best performance in FSX SP1.
Overnight Microsoft released Flight Simulator X Service Pack 1.
I am certain that this will address many of the performance issues that people had with the game, and I am also certain that (as always) there will be people that complain that their favourite airport or aircraft didn’t get something fixed
Remember… this is a performance update and there will be more updates to this version ongoing as the team have said time and time before.
Phil has also posted the following articles on his blog that I strongly recommend you read:
Preparing to Install
Aircraft Scenery Fixes
Missions, Multi-player and Misc Fixes
SDK, SimConnect and 3rd Party Fixes
Performance Work
New Tweaks
To the ACES team…. congratulations, I know you worked your arses off on this update!
Thanks for this Susan, I have been trying to figure it out for a few weeks
Damien, as usual, hits the nail on the head.
On a side note, last night Damien was on The Last Word and it is worth a listen to the interviews via the pod-cast.

Remember I was giving out here…?
Well, I finally found a talented developer who has released a previewer that works for Adobe Acrobat on Windows XP with Office 2007. Nice one!
OK, I am
SO honoured. Yesterday, I was asked to be Godfather for
this little fella. So cool!
