Atlas to Ship Earlier than Expected

Scott Guthrie announces that version 1.0 of ASP.NET "Atlas" will ship "around the end of the year". He also lays out the roadmap for the future and lets us in on the official names for the technologies that make up "Atlas".

.NET Framework 3.0 RC1 Available for Download

James Kovaks reports that the .NET Framework 3.0 Release Canadiate 1 (RC1) is now available for download. Usually this means we have about six to eight weeks to wait before RTM (I guess Puxatony Bill (or perhaps Strathroy Steve) saw his shadow).
